Who we are:
We have been established in this historic New England town of rural beauty, stability, and charm for over 200 years. Our colonial brick Church with fine steeple, large parish house, and animal memorial garden is located on The Town Green in Sharon, close by Sharon's landmark Clock Tower. (more history)
As a faith community you will notice three threads intertwined that bind us together:
• We are not flashy, but we are strong, flexible, inclusive, and faithful. Faith endures; we endure, loving and loyal, searching and seeking.
• We are a caring respectful loving community. “In essentials unity, in nonessentials diversity, in all things charity.” We value difference, we bear one another’s burdens, we forgive, we work hard, we value humor and we love one another.
• We are a “people of the rising”. We have experienced the Scriptural lesson of a mysterious rising of hope and renewal especially following loss. We believe in a God who is full of grace, compassion and mercy. We are blessed and grateful.
